The Center Theatre Group Student Ambassador Program is for high school students who are curious about the arts and want to build leadership and teamwork skills. Student Ambassadors work with theater professionals and with one another on exciting projects to involve more young people in the Los Angeles arts community.

There is no fee to participate in the Student Ambassador Program; it’s entirely free! The costs for all of the activities, from seeing plays to attending workshops, are covered by Center Theatre Group.

Meet our 2021/22 Student Ambassadors

Our 2021/22 Student Ambassadors are serving on two teams to design and execute a pre-show event and social media engagement around the themes of the musical Hadestown, opening at the Ahmanson Theatre in April 2022. The Student Ambassador Program is a leadership and professional development opportunity for Los Angeles County high school students who love the arts: an entirely free, eight-month program designed to transform passionate young people into arts leaders, team players, advocates, and engagement experts.
