The Fowler Museum at UCLA explores global arts and cultures with an emphasis on past and present works from Africa, Asia, the Pacific and the Americas. The mission of the Fowler’s Education Department is to strengthen global arts and humanities education by helping to increase understanding of our world’s cultural and artistic traditions. The Fowler also offers Curriculum Resource Units for many of the museum’s major exhibitions, which may be found by browsing individual exhibit listings. A variety of school tours, workshops and programs are available — see school visitsfor more information. The museum can accommodate up to 70 students per visit. There is no cost for the program; however, schools are responsible for providing their own transportation.
