The Norton Simon Museum houses a massive collection of European, South Asian and Southeast Asian art, including pieces that date back more than 2,000 years. Visitors can also walk through the beautiful Sculpture Garden, an opportunity for students to explore art and nature alongside each other. Staff-guided tours can be scheduled for grades 5-12. These tours are held in the morning, when the museum is closed to the public, to allow for a more intimate learning environment. Educators can choose from a variety of tour themes, which can be tailored to classroom curriculum. Teacher-guided tours for K-12 students can also be scheduled during normal business hours.
