The Armory Center originated as the education department of the Pasadena Art Museum in 1947. Today, it offers 20,000 square feet of space for galleries, workshops, studios and performances. K-12 field trips are offered 9:30-11:30 AM Tuesday-Friday. Teaching Artists lead students on a tour of our contemporary exhibitions and into the studio to create hands-on art projects. Prior to the visit, teachers receive an Armory Education Packet with images, discussion topics, and activities. For more information and to book, contact the Field Trip Coordinator.
