The Autry National Center is a museum dedicated to exploring and sharing the stories, experiences, and perceptions of the diverse peoples of the American West. The Autry offers docent-led tours and lessons on Western history for student groups Tuesday-Friday. Programs are available for students in grades K-12 and meet California Academic Content Standards. A complete list of school programs available for the 2017-2018 school year is available on the museum website.  The Autry provides teachers with classroom resources, online access to images and lesson plans and student activities for before and after your visit. Special education docents are also available for students with disabilities.

Bus scholarships are available to Title I schools through the “All Aboard” program. In addition, student participants in “All Aboard” receive free family access to the museum for one year!
