ECCLA Application Skills and Scholarship Program
The ECCLA Application Skills and Scholarship Program is designed to cover the five basic elements of nearly every application a student will encounter throughout life, including applications for scholarships and college admission. Our program only awards 8th and 9th graders with scholarships, but is available to everyone. We hope to
- Demonstrate that it is never too early to begin thinking about college
- Offer a chance to students at ECCLA-area schools to win money toward college every year, beginning in 8th grade
- Provide specific skills that may be unfamiliar to the majority our service area, who will often be the first in their families to attend college

2013 ECCLA 12th Grade Scholarship
This scholarship program awards $1,000 higher education scholarships to graduating seniors. Some of these higher education scholarships are awarded through the generosity of ECCLA and others are awarded through the generosity of the California Retired Teachers Association. The students selected receive their cash awards upon proof of enrollment in an accredited U.S. college or university. Application deadline: April 12, 2013.
