Fiscal Sponsorship

For USC UNO applicants:
Your grant may require a fiscal sponsor if your community partner is a school, or is not a nonprofit organization.  The USC program wants to assure donors, usually USC employees donating through a payroll check-off program, that their money is not replacing funds that the University would otherwise provide.  UNO therefore requires that grant funds be handled outside of USC departments, and ECCLA has provided this service to USC and UNO donors since 1996.
The Fiscal Sponsorship Questionnaire must be completed and submitted to ECCLA separately from the UNO online application.  This document is due to ECCLA by the 2/22/13 deadline.

Fiscal sponsorship agreements will be adapted to the specific circumstances of an individual project.  This draft agreement will give you an idea of the types of information that will be addressed in such a contract.
