The Music Center Spotlight Program

Spotlight is a nationally acclaimed scholarship and arts training program for high school students in the performing arts. Applying to Spotlight gives you the chance to attend master classes with professional artists in your chosen discipline, participate in the Spotlight Academy, have a live audition experience at the Walt Disney Concert Hall and win cash scholarships of up to $5,000. Students can apply to Spotlight in the following categories: acting, ballet, classical instrumental, classical voice, jazz instrumental, non-classical dance and non-classical voice. Eligibility Requirements:

  • Southern California high school student who attends a public, private, parochial, online or home school, completing high school curriculum (Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Diego, Riverside or San Bernardino counties)
