Southern California Science Academy Research Training Program

The Research Training Program gives high school students the opportunity to conduct individualized research with an expert mentor in any scientific discipline throughout the academic year. Participants attend three meetings throughout, visit professional laboratories, prepare an abstract and a written paper and will ultimately have the opportunity to present their work at the Academy’s annual meeting in May.

Eligibility Requirements:

Currently enrolled 8th-11th grade students
Project proposal
APPLY: Applications for the 2016-17 Research Training Program will be available online in the spring of 2016. Application includes resume, project proposal and letter of recommendation.
