Attention teachers! Have a great class project idea? Founded by teachers for teachers in 1933, the California Credit Union (CCU) seeks to support educators by funding innovative learning opportunities for their students. CCU will award up to twenty (20) $500 Teacher Grants.

The Big Draw LA creates opportunities for people of all ages to discover that drawing can help us SEE, THINK and INVENT. During October 2010, Ryman Arts spearheaded over 30 Big Draw LA events across Los Angeles. Your class could win prizes and raise the profile of your arts efforts by joining in. The Office of State Controller John Chiang is now accepting summer intern applications for its Los Angeles office. This is a non-paid internship. There will be two six-week sessions offered. Additionally, all interns must attend a mandatory orientation. The application deadline is April 23, 2012.
